Describe your desk

Any place that I can find a free space.

Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?

Natchez, Miss. Influence my love of the paranormal. From my first ghost/spiritual experience, I loved telling these stories, and now I get the chance to write about them; only with a twist.

When did you first start writing?

When I was first able to hold a pencil.

What's the story behind your latest book?

I was born with a caul and have heard stories of the special gifts these people inherited. My gift is the ability to detect spirits around me.

What motivated you to become an indie author?

I like the independence of the indie authors I have read.

How has Smashwords contributed to your success?

I first read indie books on Smashwords, and I thought "so this is where real authors hang out." I wanted to be a part of this world.

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?

It is knowing that someone will read the written word and sharing my love of writing and reading with others.

What do your fans mean to you?

Everything. As a new writer, I look forward to their input (good/bad) because it allows me to grow as a writer.

What are you working on next?

The sequel to The Caulbear's stone

What inspires you to get out of bed each day?

My characters. I dream about them and can't wait to put what they have disclosed on the computer.
